SFCC B2C 26.4: Release Highlights
Salesforce has now published the 26.4 notes for Agentforce Commerce B2C, and this release feels very much like a practical platform update: less about flashy headlines, more about making daily commerce operations easier, safer, and a bit smarter.
On the security and observability side, Salesforce is adding earlier visibility into suspicious platform behavior with anomaly detection, while also improving traceability in logs. Search queries made against customer and order data are now part of the security logging story, and Control Center audit logs continue their move into Log Center, which helps bring monitoring into a more centralized place.
Search is another clear focus area in 26.4. Merchants can now find products by product name, exact matches are given stronger priority in results, price-based searches return more precise matches, and Japanese product discovery gets a boost through enhanced tokenization. Put simply, search behavior is being tuned to feel more accurate and less noisy.
For merchandising teams, Business Manager gets more useful day-to-day visibility. The product list view becomes more actionable, with added visibility around product readiness plus price and inventory data directly in the list. That should make routine catalog reviews faster and cut down some of the back-and-forth when checking whether products are actually ready to go.
There are also a couple of broader platform improvements worth noting. Salesforce is introducing the new Cosmos UI for Business Manager, and the enhanced proxy zone framework continues the ongoing push toward stronger security and cleaner operational foundations behind the scenes.
Nothing here radically changes how B2C Commerce works, but 26.4 is the kind of release that can quietly improve the day-to-day life of developers, merchandisers, and operations teams once it lands in their instances.
