Agentforce Commerce B2C 26.10 Release Highlights
Agentic Search reaches every locale
Agentic Commerce Search is no longer limited to English storefronts. With 26.10, it can be used across B2C Commerce storefronts in any locale, with no additional action required.
This fits nicely with another globalization improvement in this release: Business Manager now supports up to 1,000 languages and locales, compared with the previous limit of 200.
More AI assistance for catalog management
AI continues moving into everyday merchant workflows. Business Manager can now suggest product categories based on the existing catalog, helping identify and classify products that are still uncategorized.
Merchant Agent also makes product searches easier. Instead of manually building complex filters, users can describe the products they want to find in natural language and have the request translated into product attributes, operators and values.
For a simpler but useful productivity improvement, the Product List now accepts multiple product IDs in a single search, using common separators or line breaks.
Business Manager usability keeps improving
The new Utility Bar introduced in previous releases gets another small refinement: the left navigation panel can now be collapsed to provide more workspace, and the selected view is remembered between applications and sessions.
Finding pages to add to the navigation is also easier thanks to filters and common section categories. And if you need to check when an instance was updated, hovering over the release version in the navigation now displays the instance date instead of relying on the old footer location.
Connecting B2C Commerce to Salesforce becomes simpler
A Data 360 license is no longer required just to establish a trusted connection between a B2C Commerce instance and a Salesforce org.
This removes an important setup dependency for integrations that support agentic and cross-cloud scenarios such as Shopper Agent, Merchant Agent, Shopper Profile Sync and Shopper Notifications.
Multiple Tax Levels is now Generally Available
The multiple-tax functionality introduced previously is now generally available. Tax integrations can store individual tax components such as federal, state, county or local taxes on the same line item, while B2C Commerce continues to maintain the aggregated tax amount used in totals.
Up to 10 individual tax items can be assigned to a line item. The detailed breakdown is available through SCAPI and can also flow through order export and Salesforce Order Management.
More control over eCDN and SCAPI security
One of the most interesting technical changes in 26.10 is the additional control over the SCAPI eCDN zone.
Teams can now manage supported custom security rules, rate limits and IP access lists, purge caches and inspect HTTP and security traffic from Business Manager or the CDN Zones API, without requiring a Salesforce Support case for every change.
Rate-limiting rules also gain finer control over cached traffic: administrators can decide whether cached asset requests count towards the configured rate limit.
Safer configuration between instances
Service and email-domain allow-lists are no longer copied during configuration replication. Development, Staging and Production now keep these settings independently, reducing the risk of a staging replication unintentionally replacing production allow-list configuration.
Two checks worth doing after the upgrade
Business Manager cartridges still using the deprecated pre-2.6 extension format no longer load. Salesforce surfaces warnings for affected cartridges on the Code Deployment screen and the Admin dashboard, so older customizations should be reviewed.
The deadline for moving legacy eCDN zones to proxy zones has also passed. Legacy zones and HTTP-only traffic are no longer supported, and Salesforce specifically recommends checking DNS configuration as well as the eCDN setup because traffic can appear to work even while an upstream DNS record still points to an old legacy-zone CNAME.
In summary
Agentforce Commerce B2C 26.10 closes the 2026 release cycle with a good mix of practical improvements rather than one single headline feature.
AI-assisted merchandising continues to expand, Business Manager becomes a little easier to operate, tax handling becomes more flexible, and technical teams gain significantly more control over SCAPI and eCDN security.
For existing implementations, I would particularly keep an eye on legacy eCDN configuration, older Business Manager cartridges and the new instance-specific allow-list behavior.
