Salesforce has announced the upcoming rollout of B2C Commerce Release 25.8, taking place from July 22 to August 21, 2025. Currently, only one new feature has been documented in the release notes: Service Profile Defaults.

This enhancement simplifies the setup of web service profiles within Business Manager (under Administration > Operations > Services). When creating or editing a service profile, many optional fields now automatically populate with Salesforce-recommended default values.

Key benefits of this update:

• Reliability: Built-in defaults, such as enabled circuit breakers, help prevent integration failures from propagating.
• Simplicity: Optional fields like timeouts and thresholds don’t need to be manually set, they will assume optimal defaults if left blank.
• Flexibility: Admins and developers can still override defaults by providing specific values as needed.

As of this writing, this is the only published enhancement for version 25.8. This article will remain open for updates in case Salesforce adds further features or fixes during the release window.
